Located halfway between Lund and Saltery Bay on the northern Sunshine Coast, the Powell River area boasts some of the best scuba diving locations in BC and Canada.
Abundant sea life, natural and artificial reefs, sheer walls, shallow wrecks, and great underwater visibility that rivals Caribbean waters (especially in the winter) make the Powell River area one of the best places to take a scuba dive vacation. It is a dive destination of choice for divers from all over the world.
Alpha Dive Services can help with all your diving needs. The experienced staff provide scuba diving instruction, including recreational and technical courses, scuba diving charters, and they have a good selection of diving equipment.
The “Emerald Princess”, a 2.5-metre bronze statue by sculptor Simon Morris is one of the most famous scuba diving destinations in the area. She is located in 18 metres of water off of Mermaid Cove Provincial Park in Saltery Bay, B.C. Click here for more information about dive sites in and around Powell River.
